Well Ashlyn is officially a 1st grader. (She started a couple weeks ago, but slow mommy is just now posting!) She loves her new school. She was a little nervous, but when she saw a couple children she knew, she was excited. She loves her teacher and loves being a big girl and getting the choice to buy or take lunch. What choices!

She is so cute and grown-up looking! My mom always talks about what a little lady she is. First grade is so fun, though more challenging than kindergarten. However, I KNOW how smart Ashlyn is...she will have no trouble.
Even with the blond hair, she looks like you! She is so precious and so smart. I'm glad she's having a great time in first grade.
I agree with Donna - it's amazing how much she AND Carter look just like you - but I see the mischevious looks and I'm like "Oh, there's Richard!" Glad she had a great first day of school!
