Built Ford Tough

Well after numerous visits to the ER with our family of 5, Braden Ford is the first child to receive stitches. Nine to be exact. 6 on the inside and three on the outside. While he's doing very well now, I'm sure that he'll be back to jumping on the bed in the very near future. But for today, lesson learned.

That's so sad! Caleb is our little accident-prone/rough-housing child. He had to get stitches right in the middle of his forehead when he was two after tripping at Chuck E Cheese's and hitting the edge of the carousel! Joshua almost never got hurt as a little one, so Caleb is always a brand new adventure for us. Caleb's middle name isn't Ford, but I believe he's "built Ford tough" too! I hope your little man feels better soon. Until then, it's lots of popsicles, ice cream and mommy kisses.

A couple of days ago Gabbi was jumping on the bed AGAIN, so I sat her in front of the computer & showed her Braden's picture. I wish you could have seen the look on her face! He's now a public service announcement/poster child for not jumping on the bed! LOL Enjoy your H&G Party - the new catalog is beautiful as always.

So sorry for Braden but SO glad I didn't start the Wiginton stitches with Ashlyn when she fell on the brick at dayschool, or the time she fell outside of my house and scraped her finger nail or the time Malaya hit her over the head w/a figurine or...I think my list could continue on :). Braden sure looks cute though!! Hopefully it will be the first and last!!
